Marriage, Couples, & Relationship Therapy

The quest for love…the desire to be seen, held, wanted and cherished, respected and adored…this is what most people are striving for.

If you are looking to improve your marriage, are interested in reconciliation, or want to expand the quality of your love relationship, you might consider a consultation to learn more about how I might help.  Ironically, my experiences with marital distress and divorce have also brought invaluable expertise and wisdom regarding setting up and sustaining healthy and successful partnerships, what they feel like, what they look like, what works, and what you can do to expand the possibilities for yourself and also to be a good partner.

You may be wondering:

  • Is “true love” really possible?  What does that even look like?
  • Do I have valid an attainable expectations of a love relationship?
  • Is there any hope for the relationship I am in to change or grow?
  • If there is, how do I help make that happen?
  • Should I hold onto my dreams for love?
  • Is there really such thing as a “soulmate?”
  • How do I create and attract the type of person who will be right for me?
  • What are the issues, blocks, and blindspots that I might have that are interfering in my relationship?
  • If I get divorced, am I just going to repeat all this again?

Sometimes it takes a marital or relationship crisis to get the attention of the partners to wake up, to engage in the relationship, to take a look at how they perpetuate negativity and wounding in the relationship.  Most of the time, the wounds of the past have not been healed.  The walls have been built over the years…brick by brick.  Another wound, another brick.

There may be a pathway to heal and grow the relationship.  Or, you may determine that there is no hope for the relationship and how it might end in a conscious and conscientious manner, especially if children are involved.  Either way, my approach is to help you gain clarity so that you can make more enlightened decisions.  My tendency is to support and challenge the relationship to grow, to see what the possibilities might be.  In the end, I am for love…self-love, and loving partnership.

If you would like more information on couples counseling, relationship coaching, help with dating, or reconciling your marriage, email or call me.  I am in the process of setting up another website that more effectively addresses marital and couples therapy.  It should be up by August 1, 2016!
